The move south to California went surprising well. New home, jobs and being closer to family has been well worth the effort. I haven't had a chance to wet a line yet, but the time is very close. Just need to establish residency first before forking over another $175.00 for a non-resident license
The new tying room (man cave) took a little longer to set up than I wanted, but all systems are go. It took a week or so to neatly stow away the tying material. I didn't realize I had that much material in the steelhead tying department and very little materials for trout. That will soon change.
There's always a few surprises moving in to a new home. My surprise was a lot of left over carpet scrapes in just the right shade! The stuff is awesome for dubbing and a great substitute for Z-lon.
On my Facebook page I have announced a give-away for carpet dubbing. I have three shades (two are blended with squirrel) to send to one lucky tier Please consider hitting the "Like" button and joining the page. Additional information for the give-away is located there.
